By using Episode Bingo you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The game

Episode Bingo lets two paired people play bingo, predictions and a fantasy roster along with a TV episode, then settle up on a stake. There is no live data feed of what happened in the episode: outcomes are whatever the two of you agree they were, and a disputed one is decided by a coin flip in the app. Scores, streaks and IOUs follow from that, and we do not adjudicate them.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be 13 or older. You can delete your account at any time in Us → Delete account.

Episode Bingo Plus — subscription terms

Episode Bingo Plus is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. One active subscription unlocks Plus for both members of a couple.

Plans and price. $39.99 per year or $7.99 per month (USD; local pricing varies). The current price and period are always shown in the app before you buy.
Free trial. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial where eligible. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Leaving a couple. Plus belongs to the account that pays for it. If the paying partner leaves the couple, Plus goes with them.
Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to purchases made in the app.

Acceptable use

Episode Bingo lets you write your own squares, prompts and stakes. They are shared with the person you are paired with, so:

No harassment, threats, degradation or abuse of your partner or anyone else — including in custom squares, prompts and stakes.
No sexual content involving minors, no hateful content, nothing unlawful.
Stakes are playful and non-financial. No real-money wagering. Episode Bingo is not gambling, has no cash prizes, and must not be used to run a bet.
Do not attack, disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service, and do not try to reach another couple's data.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Unofficial fan game

Episode Bingo is an independent, unofficial fan game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any television network, production company, streaming service, show or cast member. Show and cast names appear only to identify what you are watching — nominative fair use — and all trademarks belong to their owners. Cast names you type in are your own entries about real people; keep them factual and civil.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we retire something you paid for, you can cancel your subscription; Apple handles any refund.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we do not guarantee that a coin flip will go your way.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Broctic Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to use Episode Bingo after that means you accept them.
